Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by my channel. In this video I’m going to covering my Lovesac Sactional sofa experience and why I ended up returning my Sactional couch. I briefly discuss what the Lovesac Sactional is, my buying / purchase experience, and then share my thoughts on the Sactional sofa and why it didn’t work out for me.

Please note: This is my personal opinion and experience. Not everyone may have the same experience or level of expectations. I just wanted to share my thoughts on what is definitely an investment purchase.

I hope this can give some insight for anyone who is considering investing in a Lovesac Sactional couch.

ALSO, I’m super awkward with a bunch of head turning to look at my notes and out of nervous habit. SORRY ABOUT IT.

A COUPLE OF FOLLOW UP NOTES: If you are watching this video because you are trying to decide if you want to invest in a Sacational, please keep in mind this is ONE negative experience out of MANY positive ones. The Sactional wasn't a good fit for my lifestyle, but that doesn't mean it won't be a good fit for yours. If you KNOW a modular type of sofa is what you want and you have a higher budget to work with, then it may be a good investment for you. What it all comes down to is your lifestyle and cost vs product experience. As far as the covers go, many sales reps recommended the plush velvet ones saying they are the most durable and easy to clean. Please just keep that in mind. 💜

Completely agree that they're overpriced garbage. I went with a Home Reserve and got a much better sectional for 1/2 the cost. You'd hate it because it's not very deep. But I come from a family of short-legged Irishmen, so it's great for me.

$4,000? For just enough modules and covers to make a standard sectional shape? That's nightmarish!

Edit: Scratch my comparison. Turns out I was looking at a up-priced Chinese-made clone of another $4k couch from 2007.

Thank you. You just saved a lot of people a lot of wasted time and money. I think Love Sac is basically selling the idea of the company itself rather than the product the company sells. It's basically K-Mart/Target/Walmart quality with Apple marketing, but without the Apple quality. If a company is gonna sell at huge margins, it better have more to offer for the mark up than cool marketing and high pressure sales.

Price conscious? Wait a year, more affordable "clones" will hit the market, just like the VariDesk and those $$$ rolled-up foam mattresses.

My S/O has the super expensive sactional (the fluffy one that's sorta like a shag carpet) and lovesac, and it's the most uncomfortable sectional I've ever used long term. My back constantly hurts due to complete lack of proper back support (and I'm only 27!) And sleeping on it, cuddling, and anything else that involves crossing cushions is just unpleasant because of how ungodly hard the frame is and how bad it sticks out because the cushions aren't realllly covering it. The cushions sink in, stain way to easily, and need to be flipped multiple times a day to only be sort of comfortable. Overall I can't fathom how anyone likes their products aside for maybe the lovesac. It's overpriced garbage that doesn't even perform the basic functions of a couch. First chance I get, I'm replacing it.

I'm looking at a lovesac to replace my 1998 built lazyboy sectional (i've owned it the whole time). I have super high expectations at this price point. Just the fabric concern alone is driving me nuts as the fabric on my lazyboy is still in such good shape absolutely no tears and only limited fading. Thanks for posting this review – very helpful!

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. No doubt you have just saved me a lot of time and trouble. From reading a few comments from satisfied customers I think this is a good fit for New York apartment dwellers type who are making the bug bucks but space is a big commodity and moving is easier. I live in the country on a fixed retirement.

I love my sactional. It's great for apartments to fit a big couch in through stairs and small doors. I had issues with pilling too but they just replaced all my covers for brand new ones! And they upgraded the covers at no charge! Excellent customer service. I love I can arrange it however I want and add more pieces in the future

An investment is something of risk that is expected to increse in value. A couch is not an investment. I recommend you use a different word such as purchase. Thanks for the product review.

The reason I'm watching is because I thought it was a regular bean bag until I read a little paper and it said "love sac"

Seems like a lot of your issues were stuff you could have foreseen at the store, like with the fabric and the cushions. When we were there, we could tell what could be problematic based on how “coarse” the fabric felt with the samples they let us look at. And the cushions seem to be the same all around, you get really soft cushioning, expect it to sag in. Sorry it didn’t really live up to your expectations but a lot of what you had a problem with just seems like something you could have avoided had you chosen different cushioning and fabric. I will however keep in mind about the floor pegging with ours when want to shift ours around.

Thank you for your review. We are looking into Lovesac, do you know which fabric you had? Is it the corded velvet? We have dogs and cats too, would hate to be handpicking fluff and pet hair of the sofa!!!

I recently purchased a Lovesac sactional and love it! I had first seen them almost 7 years ago in a mall in Delaware and I had to have one.. I purchased a house and said why not! We love it so far! Life time warranty on hard parts and 3 year on soft, how can you beat that? If you move and need a bigger couch you buy another seat and sides.. you're down sizing? Sell a seat and side or store them inside of eachother and in the basement! Painting the livingroom and it doesn't match? Buy new covers! I think this sofa adapts to any lifestyle flawlessly.. we cant fit it 3 length wise so we did it 3 deep with a chase lounge! Cut the length from 117inch to 98! (Our last couch was 96inch without any chase.. so we love it!) We also stuck with the square arms and not the rounded arms. Definitely didn't do your homework. Sorry you didnt like it

My wife and I went to Houston galleria to look close look and talk with sells person . We found out about the life time warranty only cover the wooden parts. Not anything else at all $ 8500.00 for what we need and the wooden box is what is covered. The lady is tell the truth about the Fabric we started looking very close at it in the store and we could see the where and tear on it from people coming in and sitting on it the ends was peeling you could see the lint and dust in the like seam all the way around the cushions. I am 5foot 8 and I could not find a way to get comfortable my wife is a little shorter than I am and she had the same problem. You look is beautiful and the idea is a great idea. It just seems like every part you need they nicki and bleed every dime out of you . The staff was very friendly and helpful. But we went to our Ashley home store and found a lot better deal

Geez!! $4K after discount for a love sac sofa ? Looks like something similar to what they sell at ikea for a few hundred bucks.. I like their bean bags and always wanted one, but not when they charge an arm and a leg for those too.. how does this company stay in business with those prices?

I agree 100% this product is not for tall people lol I'm 6'3" wife is 5'9" no head rest unless I slouch or lay down. And yes the continuous fluffing was annoying! We didn't fluf for a week to see what it would look like… Looked like Play-Doh all in all it really wasn't worth the price it got sent back. Love your review i hope lots of people see it before they purchase this product.
