Here is 5 things that we learned watching United put 5 past LASK in the most recent Europa League match. This could be the last match we see from United for a while, so we need to hope that our form continues and won’t dip after a few weeks away.

March 20, 2020Ighalo 2014-2017: 82 games + 33 goals
He’s scored more than a 100 goals in the last decade. More importantly, he’s playing for the team that he and his sister loves. It means something so he’s playing with a different mindset that isn’t about money. Sometimes you see famous jazz musicians or comedians drop by a local club and perform for free.
Ighalo is a football artist doing what he loves at the best team he dreamt about- why he became a footballer. An achievement. Now show it. To yourself.
Note to self: Man Utd saved my ass from the 🦠 and I left early. Now Ighalo bleeds Red.
n.b.
Ighalo represented 🇳🇬 at the 2018 World Cup and was the highest goalscorer in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign.
He eventually led Nigeria to a 3rd place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, where he finished in the competition's Team of the Tournament and was crowned TOP SCORER.
You see, where you play football doesn’t determine how good you are. China was a confidence building stepping stone …
… to eventually play at the
Theatre of Dreams⚽️
(If you’re asking me, Ighalo helps make Sanchez’s salary more palatable if you divide by 2.)

March 20, 2020Everyone knew, or at least, should've known that this rebuild was bound to bring lows in the short-term, in order to create a brighter future for the club. I believe that's still true, and this recent upturn in form shouldn't be perceived as any indication that the rebuild has already reached it's conclusion. It's likely still going to take years for Man United to become among the powerhouses of Europe again. That said, I can't find words to describe the endless ocean of negative overreactions to Ole's first year as coach of the club.
It seems to me that the majority of the club's fans would prefer sustainable mediocrity as a result of recycling managers, over enduring the temporary adversity that comes with changing a club's infrastructure and building something from the ground up. I'm not saying this to judge Man United fans, football fans in general are irrational, impatient and inclined to trust their fickle emotions more than anything. I recognize this, and it still baffles me every time I have to witness these explosions of negativity, rather than the more logical mindset of "how do we best make this work in the long-term".
Liverpool fans were the same. Many of them deny it now that they're basking in success, but I definitely remember quite a substantial amount of them calling for Klopp to be sacked up until they started reaping the benefits of Van Dijk's defensive impact and Salah's exceptional form. That tune sure has changed. With pretty much all of the top clubs in football going through some degree of rebuilding or a paradigm shift, I'm not surprised that the only club that's on the positive end of that transition, happens to be the strongest club around right now.

March 20, 2020It’s sad football gets cancelled but if we look at the bright side we will come back with a stronger squad with rashford and pogba

March 20, 2020Geez, Ighalo could’ve been Suarez’ #9 replacement at Barca 🤔 he’s better than Griezmann, Braithwaite and Fati. Dang, we got lucky!🙏🏼🙌🏼

March 20, 2020Ighalo: I want to play football, I need to get as far away from Corona virus as possible

March 20, 2020Just as we're developing the league is called off for a bit. Gutted I want to see how we can weather the storm but unfortunately can't do that now. My school was closed yesterday and for that I'm glad but I want football.

March 20, 2020If you watch Odion's joining interview, you will have 0 doubt about him. Oh and he was quarantined in the first 14 days at Man Utd – Training alone – then pops up and scores, basic.

March 20, 2020Mr howson i totally agree with your assesment of the situation you are bang on mate

March 20, 2020Spurs have been saved by Coronavirus tbh. By the time the match gets played they might actually have an uninjured first team xD We'll still boi them tho (obvs)
p.s. in regards to Ighalo, humble brag but I kinda figured he'd do well, just didn't expect his goals to be so tasty lol. He didn't leave the PL for lack of transfer interest or dwindling talent, he left because the Chinese league pays through the roof, can u blame him? An old school, hard working, thrifty number 9 who will actually be in the 6 yard box when we need him to be, I'd be happy to have him stay on another season as a rotational squad player.

March 20, 2020I love this clean sheet stat in Europe business when every team around us in the table is playing champions league football and we’re in the europa league 😂

March 20, 2020Well if they’re worried about packed stadiums being an issue, City should be able to continue playing just fine.

March 20, 2020The moment you guys get momentum though, Corona hits back.
Galloglaoch
March 20, 2020Funny thing football is… in the last months I went from certain we're not getting top 4 to higly doubtful and recently almost feeling we can make it and now with the corona virus break though…I'm back to thinking this will only do us harm. We're on fire and a month without football is gonna cool us down, form will drop and players won't have te high spirits and momentum keeping them good. Then we have Pogba comming back and disrupting a perfectly working midfield and who knows how that ends up. Finally we end up playing Spurs instead of them being useless and toothless with Kane and Son back menaing they might as well batter us somehow… We had all the fine details foreshadowing our rise and with the rbeak…a failure to continue this brilliant form is the most logical thing. So for fucks sake..not only we'r enot gonna get to watch this well oiled Unite dplay for a while ow but when they return they won't be the same team and are very likely to drop form making us lose games we would've probably won if they were to be played now. Unfortunate timing…. Not to mention it's unlikely the league gets canceld so Liverpool don't win it…so it's just bollocks that suspension!

March 20, 2020Strongest 11? Wan Bissaka, DeGea, Matic? Mata is only a starter against sit back squads, too

March 20, 2020A sixth thing we learned was that Harry Maguire is a vocal Captain that isn't afraid to grip the lads. Being able to hear some of the on pitch chat was great and I clearly heard Harry gripping Romero to get his wall sorted out for a free kick and a couple of other times when our players lost possession or gave a bad pass. And he is also getting in the referee's face when bad decisions are awarded. He's growing into the role and I like what I'm seeing and Mr Keane will have a nice little grin on face no doubt. Positive leadership from a natural Captain in Bruno is doing wonders for the whole team.

March 20, 2020Do you think that we played such a strong team because we knew that the delay was coming? No risk, score high so when the delay is gone all the games they want to ram through can be slightly easier

March 20, 2020Can you dress like a Gnome and Jesus wear a potatoe sack robe for your next show please? I’ll donate 5 bottles of Capt.Morgan and a case of beer. 👍
